“Wish you were here” – Postcard from Maine #11

Summary – Shelley, the landlady, is a gardener. After a frustratingly long session getting my computer “repaired” after a combination of Google & Microsoft rendered my photo programs inoperable I needed to relax. Flower photography does the trick for me. šŸ˜‰

    • Thanks, Rose. You’ll be happy to know they were all taken using the Canon 500D close up lens. (Attached to a 70-300 lens plus a 1.4X TC on my D300 which gave me 640 mm in a 35mm equivalent before even attaching the close up lens. I like this arrangement a lot. Between the zoom lens and the rotating lens collar I can compose to my heart’s content without having to move a tripod or flip the camera from H to V. I did use a tripod.)

A mixture of styles from straight to shoot-through to high-key….

Got me out of my computer-funk šŸ˜‰
