Summary – Sunrise & sunset images may be clichés, but that does nothing to make them less beautiful – to the eye & soul.

Sunrises and Sunsets

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park

Sunrises and sunsets are a favorite subject of mine

I like sunrises more so than sunsets

They’re more peaceful & serene & (usually) people-free

I love the solitude and quiet of nature

Being in the moment is the thing

Capturing an image (cliché or not) is a fringe benefit

Scrolling over an image shows rise vs set

  1. Hi, Ed – I enjoyed all the abstract entries over the last few months, but am really glad to be back to seeing your wonderful photographs such as these and the rural decay ones of yesterday. Very inspiring. Thanks, Gina
