Panoramas Revisited

Summary – Showing my face here again. Weekly maybe. Had an occasion this week to shoot a panorama. Things are a lot easier now than just 3-4 years ago (or maybe I’m a bit smarter πŸ˜‰ )

Here’s the pano I just made for a e-Zine post. It was a spur of the moment decision and violated almost every guideline for shooting a panorama.

Nikon D800E, Nikkor 24-70 2.8, Hand-held, Aperture Priority f/8, manual white balance, RAW, 9 exposures

Done by “the rules” would have used a tripod and Manual settings instead of AP (and a few other minor things)

Raw to jpeg in Lightroom; same default settings for each exposure. Stitched in PS Elements 11. Minor exposure-related post-processing back in LR.

No muss, no fuss
